Diploma thesis

The aim of my diploma thesis was proposal of a robust Symbolic Regression method based on Genetic Programming, which will be capable of finding symbolic models for complex datasets containing nonlinearities, irregularities and other artifacts, which are too complex for current methods. The method is based on a principle of dividing the dataset into "less complex" regions and finding piecewise models locally for them. The division of the original dataset is based on various types of clustering such as Spectral Clustering. Output of this method is single compound symbolic model, which is created by merging these piecewise models together. The result is that the compound model was able to outperform all state-of-the-art genetic programming approaches.

Space Invaders

This is an implementation of popular arcade game Space Invaders (1978) in Javascript using Canvas technology.
The game engine is written in pure Javascript using ES2015 standard (Classes). Source files are validated with ESLINT and built with Babelify Plugin. Engine contains main class GAME, which handles state transitions of game. Also contains current game settings and state information like score and lives left. Game contains several game entities, like invaders, bombs, rockets and more, which all inherit from general class OBJ. Each game entity can be drawn on canvas. It also contains current state info, like position, speed etc. The most important part of the game are game states, each extending basic State class.

Incognitel

Incognitel is a business web application for secure online meetings. It preserves user's anonymity using newest web technologies like WebRTC and cryptographical standards. You can find more information on the homepage.

Animalous is a web application for secure anonymous communication with end-to-end encryption according to latest security standards. You can find more information on the homepage.

In-work

In-work is an attendance system for smaller companies, which cannot afford expensive systems. In-work is a lightweight web application for recording employees attendances, events and generating reports. You can find more information on the homepage.

Bachelor thesis

My bachelor thesis was focused on problems regarding teleoperation of humanoid robots and knowledge acquired during it. It deals with a utilization of this knowledge studying specific learning techniques. The main focus is given to reinforcement learning and also neural networks. This thesis overviews an existing methods utilized in real-world applications, and also proposes some improvements for one of these methods. In addition, the method is tested on a task with a humanoid robot.

Online Backprop Simulator

This application simulates artificial neural network learned by classic backprop algorithm. The app is written purely in javascript using Web Workers for asynchronous computation.

Quick usage info:

1. New neuron can be added by doubleclicking in the upper canvas of the page.
2. Synaptic link between neurons can be created click on the green + on the source neuron and dragging the line to the destination neuron.
3. Neuron can be deleted by doubleclicking on it.
4. A synaptic link can be removed by clicking on the end node of the line and dragging it to the empty space
5. A training set can be uploaded using dialog on the left side under the canvas. The input file has to be in th PAT (SNNS) format.
6. The simulator has defaultly uploaded XOR problem training set to try the application.

Online Kohonen Simulator

This application simulates Kohonen neural network. The app is written purely in javascript. Similarly to the backprop app, it's written on NodeJS platform and compiled with Browserify for browser usage.

Quick usage info:

1. Training set can be created by adding training points on the canvas in the upper part of the page. Adding is done by clicking on it.
2. On the left side under the canvas, user can set the topology of the kohonen layer.
3. Training set can be also uploaded in the right section under the canvas. The image should be Black and White.
